A thug, who stabbed his neighbour after an argument about loud music 'escalated', has been jailed.
Leon Humphries 'shouted' at the victim to turn his music down and an argument broke out, before becoming a 'scuffle'. Humphries had armed himself with a knife and and 'swung it towards the other man's stomach', causing a laceration to his abdomen, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard.
The 45-year-old - who has previous convictions for violence, including an attack on his dad - has now been locked up for 18 months after he admitted a charge of wounding. The incident happened at accommodation run by the Lyme Trust, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.

Prosecutor Maria Brannan said the victim did not have a clear memory of the events, which took place last November. She said: "The injured party remembers talking to other residents, a man and a woman. The man was this defendant.
"His recollection is the man started to threaten him and shout. He started to shout back.
"The next thing he recalls is the woman saying, 'You've been stabbed'. He put his hands to his stomach and felt blood.
"The defendant was pacing back and forwards saying, 'I can't believe what I've done'."
The court heard the female witness recalled Humphries remonstrating with the victim over the volume of his music. Ms Brannan said: "She heard the defendant shouting at the injured party to turn his music down. She said the argument escalated. She saw the defendant had a three-inch knife.
"The injured party shouted, 'Why have you got a knife?' The defendant said, 'To defend myself, as
