Three people stabbed in central London as huge cordon put in place near train station

Three people have been taken to hospital after being stabbed near a train station in central London.
Police said they were called to the scene near Liverpool Street station in the Bishopsgate area just after 9.45am this morning (Thursday). Three people were reportedly stabbed, while another person was 'pushed to the floor', police said.
The victims were taken to a nearby hospital by the London Ambulance Service. A spokesperson for City of London Police said the ongoing incident is not being treated as terror-related.

In a statement, the force said: “We received reports of three stabbings & a person pushed to the floor on Bishopsgate at 9.46am & officers arrived at the scene at 9.51am.
“Three victims were taken by LAS (London Ambulance Service) to a nearby hospital to be treated. This is an ongoing situation, but is not being treated as terror-related.”
Police officers and paramedics remain at the scene and a cordon is in place around the area. According to MyLondon, some nearby offices are on 'lockdown'.
A source near the scene said that workers in an office were not allowed to leave their building due to the incident. A witness also said they believed it was a 'bike theft gone wrong'.
