A trio of cisgender female athletes is suing the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference and multiple school boards in the state for policies that allow transgender athletes to compete in high school sports based on their gender identity.
The athletes in question take issue with the CIAC policy that allowed transgender track stars Terry Miller, of Bloomfield High School, and Andraya Yearwood, of Cromwell High School, to compete as girls.

Saudi officials have reportedly called for the arrest of rapper Ayasel Slay after she uploaded a music video for her feminist anthem "Girl from Mecca" on YouTube. The video shows Ayasel in sunglasses hanging out in a café with a group of children dancing in the background.

Boosie BadAzz was met with immense backlash on social media after he took to his Instagram account on Feb. 18, ranting about former professional basketball player Dwyane Wade‘s support for his 12-year-old transgender daughter, Zaya. “Dwyane Wade you’ve gone too f**king far,” he began, before launching into a rant about Zaya being too young to even know “what they’re next meal is going to be.” Following the intense verbal tirade, social media users had some words of their own for Boosie.
According to Galop’s 2020 Online Hate Crime Report, many LGBTQ people leave social media due to online abuse and harassment.
