Thomas Markle takes vicious swipe at Harry as he denies claims of betrayal

After Meghan Markle won her legal battle against a British tabloid, Associated Newspapers she was awarded a huge sum of USD 625,000. The Duchess of Sussex had sued the newspaper for invasion of privacy and copyright infringement over 5 articles published in The Mail on Sunday and MailOnline which featured sections of a private letter from her father Thomas Markle after she tied the knot with Prince Harry.

British newspaper the Mail on Sunday doesn’t have to run a front-page statement about the Duchess of Sussex’s legal victory until it has had the chance to challenge the order, a judge ruled Monday.

Thomas, 76, confessed that he was “very disappointed” by the interview. “I’ve apologized for this thing, what happened, at least a hundred times, or so,” he said, referencing his collaboration with tabloids.

Thomas Markle said Tuesday he does not believe the British royal family is racist after his daughter, Meghan Markle, claimed in an explosive interview that an unnamed family member had concerns over her son's skin color, according to a report.  Thomas Markle told ITV, the British network, that he has "great respect for the royal family.  "I think Los Angeles is racist," he said, according to Reuters.
