Manchester United travel to Lemar's Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Round of 16 this week with both sides hoping to progress in the competition.
Pogba and Lemar are teammates on the international stage with France and the 26-year-old has already made it clear that he knows what to expect from United's midfielder.
Speaking to the Daily Express during the 2018 World Cup, Lemar said: "He’s [Pogba] leading us all, he’s smiling, he’s also giving us good advice.
"He’s a guy who like to take responsibilities and he’s doing it well in this tournament.
"I hope it will go on like that for him and us in the competition."
Whether Lemar will have the opportunity to play against Pogba is a different story however.
