Fans have hailed This Morning for picking the 'cream of the crop' to be their next hosting duo. The ITV daytime show has been going through a number of changes since earlier in the year when Phillip Schofield suddenly quit before Holly Willoughby also left her role last month.
While the latter announced his decision to quit This Morning back in May this year after saying rumours of a fractured relationship with Holly behind the scenes had "become the story" before he resigned from ITV altogether after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” relationship with a younger male colleague, Holly's decision to quit was shared on October 10.
In a social media statement, the 42-year-old said it had been an 'honour to just be part of its story', but said it was a call she had to make for herself and her family. In the Instagram post, she wrote: "I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning."

Since then, Alison Hammon, Dermot O'Leary, Rochelle Humes, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Cat Deeley, and Josie Gibson, before her stint in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, have shared hosting duties on the popular programme.
But it's now been revealed that next week, Rylan will return and he'll have another different famous face by his side. The radio and TV star will be at the helm of This Morning with Emma Willis from Monday, December 4.
A post was shared on This Morning‘s Instagram and Twitter accounts to confirm the news. Alongside a snap of Rylan and Emma sitting together, the upload read: "Look who’s back! @Rylan
