This Morning guest Matty Lock's final snaps before his tragic death saw the popular young man helping the local community.
Matty - who heartbreakingly died aged 19 - was a popular member of the Labour Party in Liverpool's Sefton and Merseyside and was recently elected as a town councillor in Maghull, reports the Mirror.
After the sad news, This Morning issued a heartbreaking statement, calling him a 'delightful young man'. Following his death, final snaps of Matty - who appeared numerous times on the daytime TV show to review vacuum cleaners and general mechanics – were unearthed on social media. After the sad news of his death was confirmed, This Morning paid tribute to the 19-year-old on X, as well as on the programme. The ITV show wrote: "Everyone at This Morning is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matty Lock, aged just 19.
"He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious. His family came to the studio and they were so proud that he’d turned a childhood hobby into a career. We will miss him and send our condolences to his family."
On Monday's show, Holly Willoughby and co-host Dermot O'Leary paid tribute to Matty as they kicked off the show.
