A family facing an electricity bill of nearly £12,000 from Scottish Power are demanding answers about why they are being charged as much as £1500 per month for electricity.

Thieves broke into a West Lothian home in the middle of the afternoon yesterday before fleeing with the owner’s jewellery.
Detectives are now urging neighbours to “think back” and consider if they saw anything suspicious.
The break-in happened at around 1.10pm on Thursday, January 19 a property in Tippet Knowes Road, Winchburgh.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around that time to get in touch.
Detective Constable Jen Rogers said: “I am asking local residents to think back and consider if they saw or noticed anything unusual in the street or nearby around the time of the break-in.
“I would urge anyone who thinks they may have information about this break-in to contact police. Likewise, anyone with dash cam or private CCTV is asked to review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
