‘The Walking Dead’ spinoff ‘Daryl Dixon’ airs first teaser trailer

Are you among the cult following of fans that loved Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij’s short-lived Netflix series, “The OA”? While that series was not revived—sorry to get your hopes up—the writer/directing pair, who have collaborated throughout their entire career, are back with the next best thing: a new FX series titled “A Murder at the End of the World” (see more first-look images here).

Bob Dylan has covered the Grateful Dead‘s ‘Stella Blue’ during a show in Spain earlier this week.Dylan was performing at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona on Friday (June 23) when he played a rendition of the song, originally taken from the Dead’s 1973 album ‘Wake of the Flood’.While the recent concert marked Dylan’s first time performing ‘Stella Blue’, it continues a recent streak of Grateful Dead covers the legendary singer-songwriter has played this year. The previous record-holder was predecessor series “The Walking Dead.” The iconic zombie drama had its 11th and final season released in three stretches, with the final set of eight episodes achieving the biggest debut on Oct. 2, 2022. These data points are reported by AMC based on one week of streaming data for each respective premiere. “The Walking Dead: Dead City” also made waves on linear TV, where the first episode brought in 2 million viewers accounting for three days of measurement. That includes the AMC cable channel as well as a simulcast across BBCA, IFC and SundanceTV, as well as two encore screenings on AMC. Of those 2 million, 768,000 fell into the adults age 25-54 range, with 573,000 in the adults 18-49 range, per Live+3 data.
