No worries, Blumhouse pictures apparently has so much in the can, Universal can easily pivot to one of their films, which is exactly what they are doing. Today Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions’ announced the film in question, “Freaky” will be released on Friday, November 13, 2020 and they even have a surprise trailer at the ready.

The streamer, which also canceled “I Am Not Okay With This,” released a statement Friday saying, “We’re disappointed to have to make these decisions due to circumstances created by COVID.”“We spent the last bunch of months getting ready to go back again, dealing with all the COVID protocols,” Keyser told Variety Monday.

Netflix is pulling the plug on two previously renewed scripted series amid an array of issues brought on by the novel coronavirus pandemic. The second seasons of both The Society and I Am Not Okay With This have been scrapped.
