The Sex and the City reboot won’t work because we don’t want to be their friends anymore

Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that the upcoming "Sex and the City" revival will indeed see the characters tackle the coronavirus in New York City.  It was announced earlier this month that HBO Max is bringing back the iconic dramedy series with a new chapter titled, "And Just Like That..." which will feature Parker (Carrie Bradshaw), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes), and Kristin Davis (Charlotte York).

Taking inspiration from HBO’s The Undoing, which opens with a theme song performed by star Nicole Kidman, Saturday Night Live envisioned opening credits songs for some other hugely popular shows as sung by their stars.

Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly in talks to star in the highly-anticipated Sex and The City reboot Just Like That alongside Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. If you missed it, the news of the dramatic comeback of the series and film was announced just last week.

Back in style! With the announcement that Sex and the City is returning to HBO Max with a revival titled And Just Like That, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and revisit the original series’ fashion evolution.

The original series aired on HBO from 1998 to 2004, spanning 94 episodes during its six seasons. The author of the book on which the HBO series and subsequent movies are based, spoke outafter news broke that the show has been revived for HBO Max, minus Cattrall's Samantha Jones. The three other show leads --  Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbs, and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York — are set to return for the HBO Max series titled .«You know what, I think it’s fine,» Bushnell told Page Six.

Kim Cattrall has no regrets about not being part of the new series coming to HBO Max.While her co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis, are all on board for the new series, titled, Cattrall already declared in 2019 that she would never reprise her iconic role as Samantha.
