The cost of living is soaring and if there's one place you'll notice it more it's at the supermarket checkout.
Grocery prices have been climbing for quite some time and there's growing concern that rising inflation is having a disproportionate impact on poorer households.
It's an issue that's been taken up by poverty campaigner Jack Monroe this week after she highlighted how official inflation figures don't reflect the impact of price increases on different income groups.

She shared examples of how 29p packets of Smart Price pasta have now been scrapped at Asda and replaced with 70p bags as the cheapest option.
Also, how she used to be able to get 10 vegetable stock cubes for 10p from Sainsbury's Basics, but these are no longer available.
It's a familiar stories at supermarkets with cash-strapped families struggling to make ends meet.
And with fuel bills also taking a hit - and set to rise even more - choosing between eating and heating is becoming a real prospect for far too many people.

We repeated the same Tesco shop from this time two years ago to see just how much things have gone up and we were shocked by some of the rises.
At £83.26 compared with the 2020 price of £70.61, the total shop cost almost a fifth more (17.9%) than in pre-pandemic times.
