Former Vice President and expected Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has hired a new deputy campaign manager: the openly gay former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark and one of former President Barack Obama’s top election campaign advisors, Rufus Gifford.

The Human Rights Campaign on Tuesday laid off 22 employees because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Nick Hakim has performed a home concert for NPR, whose “Tiny Desk Concert” series is now set in the artists’ homes. Set up in his home studio with assorted instruments and technology, Hakim debuted a new song, “GODS DIRTY WORK,” and played recent singles “CRUMPY”—whose recorded version features Mac DeMarco—and “QADIR.” Check out the set below.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just expressed their gratitude to Los Angeles healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic, donating 100 meals to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital. The couple donated through the Fueling the Fearless campaign, which hires local restaurants in financial difficulty as a result of the pandemic to provide food for healthcare workers, operating in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and New York. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just thanked healthcare workers on the frontlines at a Los Angeles hospital in a seriously tasty way. The pair donated 100 hot meals to East Los Angeles Doctors Hospital by way of the Fueling the Fearless campaign, which works to hire local restaurants struggling to make ends meet as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic.

While the global fight against the novel coronavirus rages on, a new fight has begun between healthcare workers and local residents who are fed up with stay-at-home orders to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Kerry Washington was one of the many guests who were featured on the One World: Together at Home special and something that people noticed was that her bookshelves were color-coordinated!

They’re still hopelessly in love, but Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker made the difficult choice to quarantine separately during the COVID-19 crisis, she revealed to ET. The couple are currently thousands of miles apart, as the Briarpatch actress, 40, takes care of her parents, Isabel and Greg Dawson, who are at “high risk” during the pandemic.

Laura Marling played a three-song set from her home in London for NPR’s quarantine series of “Tiny Desk” concerts. Check it out below. The setlist comprised “Strange Girl,” “Held Down,” and the title track from her new album Song for Our Daughter.

Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee are the latest musicians to appear on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series, filming from Morby’s home in Kansas City. They played four songs: two off Katie Crutchfield’s recent record Saint Cloud, (“Fire” and “Lilacs” ), Morby’s 2016 track “Beautiful Strangers,” and a cover of Songs: Ohia’s “Farewell Transmission.” Watch the video below.
