The Piano returns this weekend for a second series on Channel 4. The reality show that brings harmony to your telly captured the nation's imagination the first time around.
At its heart, the programme offers incredible opportunities for undiscovered pianists to showcase their talent on public pianos across the UK. Winner of series one, Lucy, at the time 13, became an instant hit with her awe-inspiring rendition of Debussy Arabesque at the Royal Festival Hall in front of more than 2,000 spectators.
Since then, having won the hearts of the nation, Lucy has played at the coronation concert in front of royal guests. As The Piano is set to return under host Claudia Winkleman, here is all you need to know.

The second series of the programme begins on Sunday, April 28, on Channel 4. You can stream or watch live as another raft of hopefuls comes together to compete for the spot at the top of the keys.
