Two men accused of being part of a plot to kidnap and torture a victim have been found guilty. Shaun Freeman, 29, and Delroy Chin 47, went on trial at Manchester Crown Court. They have now been found guilty of conspiracy to kidnap.
They were said to be part of an eight-strong group involved in the conspiracy. Freeman was accused of giving intel about the man to the group, while Chin, prosecutors said, put trackers on his car.
Six others kidnapped the man as he stepped outside a barbershop in Hale, Trafford, to take a phone call. Freeman, from Hulme, was a 'football friend' of the man and provided information about him to the group, as well as hiring the lock-up where he was kept.

Chin, from Northampton, who has a background in trackers, placed a device on the man's car to allow the gang to monitor his movements.
Posing as plain clothes police officers, Daniel Lowe, Ben Ukaegbu and John Bishop 'arrested' the man before taking him to a lockup in Gorton. He was kept there for 12 hours and tortured. He had his testicles Tasered and his arms were singed with a blowtorch.
Throughout the horrific incident, the group left a cement mixer containing bricks and water running to 'drown out the yelling and screaming'. The group demanded a ransom of £500,000 in cash and drugs, before the man's wife phoned police and the group were intercepted by an armed unit.
Six men - Micah Walfall, Daniel Lowe, Ben Ukaegbu, John Bishop, Nicky Barnes and Michael Etubu - were earlier convicted for their part in the plot. The victim told jurors he saw suspicious black Audi following him for a number of days before he was taken.
