“The Masked Singer” returned to its regularly scheduled competition on Wednesday after last week’s highlight reel/sing-along special, with this week seeing The Kitty face off against The Frog and The Banana showdown against The Rhino.
As this wild and heated season roared on with stirring performances, The Kitty and The Banana both came up short in their matches and were forced to throw down in the Smackdown Round.

OK so the bad news is that The Masked Singer only has four creatures left in the game. Sad face! This bad news is softened a little bit by the fact that plans for Season 4 are already underway and it might be here sooner than we thought, but still.

Famous chef Gordon Ramsay stopped by The Masked Singer Wednesday, and for a guy who's notoriously not a fan of b.s., he was surprisingly fun and good-natured in "The Battle of the Sixes: The Final 6." Maybe he took a good gander at Nick Cannon looking very dapper in his tuxedo, but got down to his blinding, glittery shoes and figured Nick had the power to make a house plop on top of him like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, so he'd better be on his best behavior.

The Astronaut has been unmasked, and the final five have been revealed. The Masked Singer just said goodbye to its spaceman, who turned out to be country superstar Hunter Hayes. While the guesses were all over the place all season, Nicole Scherzinger hit the nail on the head with her final guess. "It's been an unbelievable experience," Hayes told the panel.
