Expect more celebrities in crazy costumes as Fox is bringing back The Masked Singer for season 4.
The renewal was unveiled on Fox’s investors earnings call. It comes as the third season of the quirky entertainment show, which features celebrities donning outlandish outfits to sing famous cover versions is heading to its final on May 20.
Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch said the broadcaster was targeting a fall debut, despite the current COVID-19 production shutdown.

To call The Masked Singer a success for Fox would be like calling Joe Exotic a guy who likes wild animals; nearly 9 million people tuned in to watch Frog, Turtle, and Night Angel duke it out for the Golden Mask on Wednesday night. That's an improvement over the Season 2 finale and with Season 4 already on deck, it's safe to say this is a cow the network intends to keep milking well into the future. (Side note: why haven't we seen a cow costume yet?! Get on that, Masked Singer!)
