The Masked Dancer has unveiled its latest mystery celeb, with Astronaut unmasked. Astronaut become the first contestant eliminated tonight after being unmasked as Desperate Housewives star, Jesse Metcalfe, and we cannot believe it.
He was up in the bottom three alongside Pillar and Post and Candlestick. But it was Astronaut who was ultimately booted off the programme by the panel this weekend.
However, none of the judges came close to Jesse in their guesses, with names such as famous physicist Brian Cox and Blur’s Alex James cropping up instead. Fans were pretty shocked too, with one writing on Twitter: ‘Wow I didn’t expect @jessemetcalfe to be the Astronaut but you still did great tonight and a great show too well done Jesse! :)

Actress Sophie Winkleman, best known for her role in the comedy series Peep Show, stood alongside her royal relatives on Monday as they attended the Queen’s funeral to bid her majesty a final farewell. Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae has made history by becoming the first Korean actor to win an Emmy award for Best Actor in a Drama. K.J. Yossman “Succession” showrunner Jesse Armstrong made a dig at the U.K.’s King Charles III during his Emmys acceptance speech on Monday night. Taking to the stage along with the show’s execs and castmembers, including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen and Nicholas Braun, to accept the Emmy for outstanding drama series, Armstrong said, “Big week for successions. New king in the U.K., this for us.” Armstrong, who is British, then said: “Evidently a little bit more voting in our winning than Prince Charles,” prompting gasps from the audience and some of his team on stage.
Jesse Armstrong said it had been a “big week for successions” as his hit HBO drama scooped a top prize at the 74th Emmy Awards. In his acceptance speech for the final award of the night, the British writer suggested there had been “a bit more voting involved” in the show’s win than with the ascension of the new King.
