The 2020 drama managed to win millions of hearts for its star-crossed lovers' storyline which centered on Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin), a South Korean heiress who gets swept across to North Korea into the strong hands of Ri Jeong-hyeok (Hyun Bin), a North Korean captain in the Korean People's Army.

It is undoubtedly a memorable year for Lee Min-ho and Hyun Bin. The two stars have had their shows winning the audiences' hearts.

In his first project, since his mandatory military training ended in April 2019, Lee Min-ho managed to wow us and show everyone that he's not lost a step with his leading act in The King: Eternal Monarch. It was his chemistry with Kim Go-eun that viewers just couldn't get enough of and while the ratings for the series were average, Min-ho's popularity only increased further because of his earnest performance.

One of the most beloved K-dramas to come out this year was definitely Crash Landing on You starring the gorgeous pair of Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin. For the unversed, the storyline of CLOY centered around the star-crossed love story between North Korean Ri Jeong-hyeok, a captain in the Korean People's Army and South Korean Yoon Se-ri, heiress to the Queen's Group.

Woo Do Hwan has impressed viewers with his double role in The King: Eternal Monarch. The actor plays a mellow, composed and protective Captain Jo Young, who is tasked with supporting and protecting Lee Min Ho's character Lee Gon.

Lee Min Ho fans are headed for an emotional weekend for The King: Eternal Monarch is set to premiere its finale episode this Friday. The Korean drama series will reveal the fate of Min Ho's Lee Gon and Kim Go Eun's Tae Eul.
