EXCLUSIVE: Academy Award-winning writer and director Emerald Fennell has lined up her cast for her next film, Saltburn with Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan attached to star in the project from MRC Film. Deadline recently broke that Rosamund Pike will also co-star with  principal photography set to begin this summer in the UK. The pic will be produced by Fennell and LuckyChap Entertainment’s Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie.

Another excellent sounding project is heading to the Cannes Market. Canadian director David Cronenberg (“Crime of The Future“) is lining up his next film that will blend science fiction and supernatural elements along with a reunion with French actor Vincent Cassel.

Vincent Cassel will reunite with David Cronenberg for “The Shrouds,” a new thriller from the director of “A History of Violence” and “Dead Ringers.” The film, which Cronenberg will write as well as direct, centers on Karsh (Cassel), an innovative businessman and grieving widower, who builds a device to connect with the dead inside a burial shroud.Cassel and Cronenberg previously teamed up on “Eastern Promises” and “A Dangerous Method.” Their latest collaboration seems very much in the same envelope-pushing vein. According to the official longline for “The Shrouds,” Karsh’s revolutionary business is on the verge of breaking into the international mainstream when several graves within his cemetery are vandalized and nearly destroyed, including that of his wife.

Kailia Posey is being remembered by those who knew the late pageant star. Megan Thee Stallion‘s live performance of her hit Cardi B collaboration ‘WAP’ at Coachella last weekend was subject to censorship on the Chinese social media and messaging app WeChat.The Houston rapper’s set was broadcast live from the Indio, California festival on Saturday (April 16) as part of Coachella’s YouTube coverage.WeChat users who tuned into the livestream of Megan’s set over the weekend, which was not legally broadcast in China, were greeted with the sight of the platform’s censors attempting to block out aspects of the performance.As The Hollywood Reporter reports, Megan’s performance of ‘WAP’ in particular saw the censors frantically attempt to cover the rapper and her backing dancers with a black box while they performed a series of dance routines.Coachella is also being livestreamed via WeChat. Apparently, this performance not only made censors sweat, everyone was also joking that they're singing a song about Shanghai Puxi District.
