Anna Marie de la Fuente Dominican filmmaker Jose Maria Cabral has shared the trailer to his eighth feature, “Parsley,” with Variety ahead of its world premiere at the Miami Int’l Film Festival.New York-based Visit Films is handling world sales rights on the drama.As in his Sundance title “Woodpeckers” (“Carpinteros”) and his more recent films, Cabral trains his lens on the marginalized in his country. “Parsley” (“Perejil”) is based on the 1937 Perejil Massacre when Dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo ordered the execution of Haitian communities on the country’s border with Haiti.

The highly-anticipated limited series stars Academy Award and SAG Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway and is based on the hit Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork.” From creators Lee Eisenberg (“Good Boys”) and Drew Crevello, “WeCrashed” premieres globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on March 18, followed by new weekly installments each Friday during its eight-episode season through April 22.

While it may not have received the biggest buzz at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival, those that have seen it know, ”All My Friends Hate Me,” is hysterical and a poignantly all-too-real look at social anxiety. Just look at Rotten Tomatoes where the film currently has a 100 score.

Supermodel sisters Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid hit the runway on Thursday night for Moschino’s 2022/2023 collection during Milan Fashion Week, and they of course looked more stunning than ever. Bella, 25, looked sleek and chic in a long-sleeved, fitted black number which featured a turtleneck and gold embellishments around the chest and at the wrists. Gigi wore a similarly-styled number, but strapless and a chocolate-colored brown with exaggerated hips. Both models wore their hair up in old Hollywood-like styles with lustrous curls and paired the dresses with pointed to block heels both featuring gold embellishments.

Ethan Shanfeld A remake of Stephen King’s “Firestarter” starring Zac Efron debuted its official trailer and announced a day-and-date premiere on Peacock and in theaters on May 13.The film, based on King’s 1980 novel and the 1984 original movie, follows Charlie (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), a young girl who develops pyrokinetic superpowers and is captured by a government agency who wishes to use her gift as a weapon. Sydney Lemmon will play Charlie’s mother, while Efron plays her father. Michael Greyeyes, Gloria Reuben, Kurtwood Smith and John Beasley also star.The explosive trailer sees Armstrong’s Charlie taking on bad guys with fire as her parents try to protect her.
