Salford has been revealed as having the biggest return on house value in the North West.
House prices in the borough have increased by an average of 47.6 per cent over the last five years, according to interior design magazine Homedit.
That’s 24 per cent above the UK’s average increase.
The area places third out of all 377 UK local authorities.
Second best in the North West is Trafford, ranking sixth
