The Gossip Girl reboot has found it’s Serena and Blair

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds have announced that they will be donating $1million to two different US charities amid the coronavirus crisis.

The Alzheimer’s Association has released a new benefit album called Music Moments. The 10-track compilation features covers from Sharon Van Etten (playing Lucinda Williams’ “If My Love Could Kill”), Jason Isbell (John Prine’s “Hello in There”), Nile Rodgers & CHIC (“Hey Jude”), and more. The reboot of Gossip Girl is gaining some new faces!

Tavi Gevinson will appear as a main cast member in the upcoming Gossip Girl reboot.

HBO Max is getting more and more Upper East Siders. According to Deadline, a slew of new castmembers for the Gossip Girl reboot have been announced — and one of the OG influencers is in the mix.

I know, I know—it's hard to imagine Gossip Girl without the OG cast. Like, we totally understand the simple mention of the return of Gossip Girl is reason enough to pour yourself a mimosa (or have Dorota pour one for you), there’s also a strong possibility that not everybody would be down. But we're just going to have to rip the bandaid off now because casting news.

The new iteration of “Gossip Girl” at HBO Max is continuing to build out its main cast.

The Gossip Girl reboot has found its first five Upper East Siders. One of the chicly-dressed new residents will be played by 15-year-old Whitney Peak.

And who is one of the new leads of the Gossip Girl reboot? That's one secret HBO is ready to tell. Deadline reported that Emily Alyn Lind has been cast as an Upper East Side elite in the upcoming HBO Max series.

Last year, news broke out that Gossip Girl was getting a Reboot version with a brand new cast! While we now have to say goodbye to Blair Waldorf, Serena Van Der Woodsen, Dan Humphrey, Chuck Bass and Nate Archibald, we will also be introduced to brand new characters from the Upper East Side. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the makers have now tapped five young actors as the new age S & B's of the world.
