Friends remains one of the most famous sitcoms ever made, but it has come under fire—and justifiably so—for its all-white cast, lack of diverse storylines, and cheap jokes at the expense of the LGBTQ+ community. But now a group of talented actors have decided to change some of that that, reimagining the classic sitcom with a table read comprised exclusively of actors of color.

Twitter was absolutely in love with everything about the Zoom Where It Happens event tonight, which saw an all-Black cast do a live reading of Friends‘ “The One Where It Never Happened” episode.

Friends continues to be one of the most in the world, despite the fact there hasn't been a new episode since 2004. New generations of fans continue to find it thanks to reruns and streaming platforms.
