Kaley Cuoco) celebrated one year of sobriety to kick off the new season of the HBO Max thriller, but while it appeared she was on the up and up — relocating to sunny California, dating a hot new guy, regularly attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, moonlighting as a covert CIA asset and working her day job as a flight attendant — it quickly became clear that the demons she thought she put away were just waiting for their moment to pounce.Soon after Cassie made the unsettling discovery that someone was pretending to be her and possibly framingher, her BFF, Annie (Zosia Mamet), and maybe-fiance, Max (Deniz Akdeniz), were brought into the chaos as the trio of amateur sleuths attempted to put the puzzle pieces together. This, coupled with the fact that Cassie witnessed uber-suspicious activity while in Berlin — which resulted in a car explosion just feet away from her and triggering a return to the mind palace, where she's now confronted with not one but versions of herself.
When “The Flight Attendant” first debuted on HBO Max in November of 2020, critics raved over the performance of its lead, Kaley Cuoco. As Cassie, “The Big Bang Theory” star had found the perfect follow up, a borderline alcoholic party girl who finds herself in the middle of a murder set up with the FBI hot on her tail.
Caroline Framke Chief TV CriticIt took me about 1.5 new episodes of “The Flight Attendant” to remember exactly how stressful it is to watch “The Flight Attendant.” It had been long enough since its November 2020 premiere that my memory of the show had almost become a facsimile of its slick Saul Bass-ian credits, in which a tiny blonde flight attendant runs away from shady spies and enormous bunnies. I knew I loved Kaley Cuoco’s screwball energy, Michiel Huisman’s arched eyebrow, Michelle Gomez’s exasperated sigh, and the dueling pleasures of a skittish Rosie Perez and a ruthless Zosia Mamet.
The Flight Attendant , and it's a good thing that HBO Max is rolling out only the first two episodes on Thursday because your stress levels won't be able to take that much more. “As big as season one is, season two is an even bigger swing,” "I would say it's 10 times the size in scope."She's not kidding.
Cassie Bowden just can’t catch a break. The second season of “The Flight Attendant” finds Kaley Cuoco’s character struggling to stay one step ahead in a frenetic, spy-fueled game of cat and mouse.
