The Flash, Supergirl & the Arrowverse Were Forever Changed by Crisis on Infinite Earths

We know from The Sopranos what Edie Falco can do with great writing. And now, thanks to Tommy, we know what she can do with procedural-tier writing. The four-time Emmy winner is so talented that she can make this formulaic CBS cop drama watchable. She can't quite make it good, but she saves it from being bad. The middling scripts give her just enough to work with to keep the show alive with warmth and wry humor delivered in her signature naturalistic style.

For the last three years, “How I Met Your Mother” star Josh Radnor has been embroiled in an ongoing legal feud with his next-door neighbors over a big deck dispute. The Hollywood Hills legal battle, fairly mundane at first, eventually escalated to involve restraining orders and sordid accusations of a half-naked Radnor terrorizing the neighbors and their contractors.

Stephen Falk has signed on as creator and showrunner of the planned limited series about the rise and fall of WeWork.

On Tommy, a new drama series premiering Feb. 6 on CBS, Edie Falco is seemingly very far from the New York City metro area she's so closely associated with thanks to her performances on The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie. She plays Abigail "Tommy" Thomas, a New York Police Department legend who moves across the country to become the first female chief of the Los Angeles Police Department.
