It may have been a long couple of weeks for child actor Mary-Kate Olsen but she has finally been able to file for divorce from her estranged husband.

Consequently, we didn't get to see everything the show had planned, including a pandemic-themed episode set in New York that was shelved after people in the show's cast and crew — including recurring guest star Daniel Dae Kim -- contracted the virus.

Mary-Kate Olsen's request to file for an emergency divorce from husband Olivier Sarkozy was denied by New York City Judge Michael Katz on Thursday, Fox News has confirmed. “Currently, we are only accepting essential, emergency matters for filing,” a spokesperson for the New York courts said in a statement to Fox News on Thursday.
