The Chase's Paul Sinha has come clean on his former gambling addiction in a breathtakingly honest interview - and also revealed how he gets his new ‘high’.
The star - known on the hit ITV quiz show as The Sinnerman - said he "can't think of anything positive that came from the gambling addiction".
He told Kate Thornton's White Wine Question Time podcast if he saw his 16-year-old self, he would tell him "never, ever, ever walk into a betting shop in your life, because that's the one avenue of error where I don't think any positivity came out of it at all, just a lot of financial losses".

"The reason I'm not bored is that we have something called a smartphone. We have a device that's in our hands and in our hands is a device that allows you to connect with the entire world, whether it's on social media, whether it's on Wikipedia, whether it's emailing people, whether it's finding out about who built the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, whether it's sticking on your Spotify and exploring the Beatles' third album; the whole world is in your hands.
"I was such a curious kid, when it came to information and exploring the world, when my parents went shopping, they'd just drop me off at the bookshop and then come back four hours later going, ‘Oh, you still here?’ and I’d have my head in a book about cricket. If someone had told me the younger version of myself
