The Chase star Mark Labbett was left ‘heartbroken’ as he said an emotional goodbye to his new girlfriend Hayley Palmer. The 57 year old quiz expert, known by his nickname The Beast, expressed his sorrow in a sweet message about the 41 year old TV presenter on social media. Mark and Hayley had been spending time together in Los Angeles, California, as the trivia master filmed the US version of The Chase.
But the time soon came for her to leave. Mark wrote on Instagram: “It was Hayley's last day today.” “Missing her already,” the quizzer added, followed by a broken heart emoji. Following weeks of a rumoured relationship, Mark and Hayley went public for the first time last month and were seen enjoying the sunshine on the beach in Southsea, Portsmouth.
Mark shared a selfie of him with Hayley on the seaside visit. He wrote: "At Southsea, oh I do like to be beside the seaside. Fish and chips followed by ice cream.

He told The Mirror : "I’m on the road so much, plus the little matter of a six-year-old boy that I co-parent with, so I try to spend as much time as I can with him.
"I’m going out to film in America next month, and I’m already planning what I’m doing in July and August with Katie to see what weeks work."
