The Chase star Anne Hegerty has had a pop at her co-stars branding them all "evil" after they compared her to Disney villain Cruella De Vil. Anne, known as 'Frosty Knickers,' has taken a swipe at her fellow Chasers after she was missing from a Beat The Chasers line-up. Anne took to Twitter to repost a video clip from the most recent episode of the ITV spin-off show, hosted by Bradley Walsh.
In the clip, her co-stars Darragh Ennis and Paul Sinha joke around comparing her to the iconic Disney villain. Bradley, 61, asks "Still no Anne?" as Paul 'The Sinnerman' replies: "We don't know where she is. "Our only clue is that her 101 Dalmatians have gone missing as well." Darragh chimed in: "We can get her back whenever we want. You just look in a mirror and say her name three times." The 'Governess' Anne reposted the video to her Twitter fans as she bashed her co-stars for being "evil" towards her. "My colleagues are evil," she wrote alongside a number of laughing emojis, encouraging her fans to watch the show at 9pm.
Chasers Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha and Darragh Ennis were ready and waiting to take on a new batch of contestants on Monday. But The Governess was noticeably absent from her seat. Anne was in fact missing from The Chase's spin-off show Beat The Chasers due to Covid. The star caught Coronavirus and had to self-isolate when the mini-series was being filmed, meaning she had to pull out.
