No matter how often you watch The Bold and the Beautiful, the show has been around for so long that there are still things that you might not know about it.

Focus Features is now distributing and released it in theaters Friday.

In this week’s episode of The Discourse, host Mike DeAngelo goes on a joyride with one of the stars of “The Bikeriders.” The film follows the members of a Chicago-area biker gang from their innocent inception in the 1960s to their descent into a darker underworld.

As The Bikeriders rolls into theaters, viewers will be transported back into the 1960s and 1970s, particularly via biker culture and the fictional club, the Chicago Vandals. The film’s ensemble includes Austin Butler as Benny, a lover of motorcycles who joins up with Tom Hardy’s Johnny, who starts the Vandals. Jodie Comer plays Kathy, who immediately falls for Benny one night at a bar. Damon Herriman plays Johnny’s righthand man Brucie, and other staples of the crew include Beau Knapp’s Wahoo, Karl Glusman’s Corky, Boyd Holbrook’s Cal and Michael Shannon’s Zipco. Norman Reedus later joins up, and the story wouldn’t exist without Mike Faist’s rendition of Danny Lyon, a photographer who put together the book titled The Bikeriders which inspired Jeff Nichols’ film.

Coming into a series that has been on for two seasons doesn’t always leave a lot of room for new ideas, but costume designer Christina Flannery says she was thrilled with the opportunity to embellish and elevate the established characters for the third season of The Righteous Gemstones. “Time had passed, so we were able to show that the three siblings were taking over the church and I was able to push my own look into it for sure,” she says. “The costumes of season one and two are great, but I definitely think that my injection of these psychedelic neons and rhinestones took the baseline and allowed us to fold out the characters more.”

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood had to make between 200 and 300 leather bomber jackets for AppleTV+’s World War II series “Masters of the Air.” Despite having more than 80 credits to her name, Atwood had never done a WWII drama and was delighted to finally be tackling the era. She dove deep into researching the period, collecting photos of the young men on the military bases so she could create individual styles for the actors and their characters. She even got samples of the original uniforms.

After the success of the pilot episode of Hazbin Hotel in 2019, Vivienne Medrano showed the potential that an adult animated musical series could offer. A potential that saw A24 joining into the animation space, leading to an eight episode season on Prime Video and a renewal for season 2. Joining Medrano on the project are songwriters Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg, who used multiple styles of music to give the series a more musical feeling than the pilot episode.
