The average household will need to pay an extra £3 a year for water and waste water service charges in 2020.
The 0.9 per cent increase will affect all council tax bands meaning the average Scottish Water household charge in 2020-2021 will be £372.
Tax band A will see the lowest increase of £2.58 with a combined bill of £298.74, while Tax band D will see an increase of £3.87 with a combined bill of £448.11. Tax band H has the highest increase at £7.74 with the bill totalling £896.22.
