The 'amazing' Scottish cocktail bar inspired by Lord of the Rings

A cocktail bar in Scotland inspired by The Lord of the Rings has earned rave reviews from visitors. The Cocktail Geeks is an Edinburgh bar that serves drinks based on a constantly rotating theme.
Since the start of October, it has had the theme of 'There and Back Again'. Those interested in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit can head to The Edinburgh Arches to enjoy cocktails inspired by the works of J. R. R. Tolkien.
Among the drinks available are The White Tree—which includes El Gobernador Pisco, honeydew melon cordial, and elderflower—and Boil Em, Mash Em, Stick Em In A Stew, which contains Don Q Barrel Spiced Rum and sweet potato.

As well as the drinks themselves, the bar has been fully redecorated in keeping with the theme. Fans will have fun spotting all of the references to the books and films, including a Shelob puppet above the bar and a replica of the sword Narsil.
Posting on its Facebook page, The Cocktail Geeks wrote: "Our Tales of Middle Earth selection takes inspiration from the vast wealth of Tolkien's writings to serve up some incredible cocktails. Whether you're new to Middle Earth or a lore purist, this is an adventure you don't want to miss."
The Cocktail Geeks is popular amongst visitors, with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on 157 reviews on travel website TripAdvisor. Previous themes have included Stranger Things and superheroes.
Since launching There and Back Again, Tolkien fans have been quick to share their thoughts. One TripAdvisor user wrote: "Best find ever! Stumbled across this brilliant bar in a quirky railway arch, they design cocktails around regularly changing themes that run through decor and menu.
