Prince Harry and Elton John are among a small group of public figures making explosive allegations in a lawsuit against Associated Newspapers — the publisher behind the British tabloids the, and claiming they were the victims of, among other things, phone-tapping and other breaches of privacy.The Duke of Sussex and actress Sadie Frost are being represented by the law firm Hamlins LLP London, while the «Tiny Dancer» singer — along with his husband, music producer David Furnish, actress Elizabeth Hurley, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon — are being represented by London-based gunnercooke LLP.According to a press release from Hamlins, and obtained by ET, the group all claim in their separate lawsuits that they «have become aware of compelling and highly distressing evidence that they have been the victims of abhorrent criminal activity and gross breaches of privacy by Associated Newspapers.»Some of the allegations include the hiring of private investigators to bug their cars and homes as well as ordering the bugging of their live telephone calls. The group also alleges Associated Newspapers paid police for inside information and impersonated staff at hospitals and clinics to obtain sensitive information.

A number of recalls that impact top UK supermarkets have been made, which include beer, tartare sauce, deserts and spreads.
Recalls are made regularly by the Food Standards Agency, which is a UK Government organisation that is responsible for protecting public health in relation to food. Recent recalls include food that can be bought from Tesco, Lidl, Aldi and Spar.
Reasons for recalls include safety fears as well as mislabelling, according to the Food Standards Agency. You should look out for any of these items in your home, as shoppers have been advised to return them to the store immediately.
If you have any of these items you will receive a full refund, even if you don't have a receipt, reports Kent Live. Here is a full list of items that have been recalled this week, as well as the reasons that they have been recalled.
The beer has been recalled as a precaution over safety fears. Lidl is only recalling IPAs with lot codes L1, L2, L3 and L4. They say possible overpressure of cans may cause bulging and potential rupture due to over-carbonation which could result in injury.
Anyone with the item should visit their nearest supermarket for a full refund or exchange. Other lot codes or Stewart Brewing products are not affected by this recall, reports the Liverpool Echo.
If you have bought the product, you are advised not to open it. Instead, place in a plastic bag and chill thoroughly, and handle it carefully when returning it to a Lidl GB store for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
