To make a comparison we checked the price of an open, off-peak, anytime return ticket from Manchester to Birmginham in March and found that most midweek tickets cost around £43, meaning travellers would have a bit of spending money on top of their £35 trip.
If you want to try solo-travelling, get away with your partner, or go on a friends holiday, there are up to 10 countries you can fly to from Manchester and back for under £35 this March.

If you’ve ever fancied heading to Denmark, you can do so with an estimated cost of £23.90 to Billund on dates - March 2 (Thu) to March 5 (Sun).
If these dates don’t suit you can go for around the same price at the end of the month on March 23 (Thu) - March 26 (Sun). If you’re looking for mid-March getaway, you can also head to Copenhagen for an estimated £31 on March 7 (Tue) - March 11 (Sat).

Plenty of offers popped up if you fancied a trip to see Italy. The cheapest flight was for Milan coming in at approximately £21.80 if you were to fly out on March 1 (Wed) and back on March 4 (Sat).
