Brits have been soaking up the sunshine over recent days, with temperatures increasing across the UK. Spring is in full swing, and with the clocks going forward, we can now get ready to experience lighter evenings and hopefully, warmer climates.
However, the recent warm weather isn't here to stay according to experts, who have warned that cooler temperatures are just around the corner. The Met Office has said that the UK can expect to see colder and cloudier weather from Monday 28 March, with temperatures set to plummet in the evenings – falling below freezing in certain parts of the UK.
A cold air mass pushing on Tuesday 29 March is forecast to bring unsettled and wet conditions, with temperatures lowering from the middle of the week.The Met Office has also warned people to be prepared for wintry showers towards the end of the week, with the North set to be hit the hardest. There's even been a suggestion that snow could fall in certain places, as lows of -4C could be on the way.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist Paul Gundersen said, as per The Sun: “Although the UK has had a good deal of fine and settled March weather in recent days, a change is on the way from the middle of next week with colder air spreading down from the north and the increasing likelihood of rain for most areas.
“On the hills in the north, there’s a chance of this falling as snow, although we’ll gain more certainty on that in the coming days. “With the influence of some unsettled weather, we’ll be seeing a marked drop in temperatures for most with colder air arriving from the north."
