Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Swanley Avenue, in Monsall, at around 6.20pm on Monday, March 16.
A 19-year-old man had been stabbed by a group of four men and was taken to hospital.
A police statement said his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.
