A teacher accused of sexually assaulting eight girls at school has been cleared of all charges.
Anthony Hook, 62, went on trial accused of more than two dozen sexual offences against female pupils at the Greater Manchester school where he worked for almost 20 years.
After a two week trial, Mr Hook was found not guilty of all counts.

He became emotional in court when he said he was barred from working as a teacher again.
A total of eight girls, age from 11 to 15, had accused Mr Hook of sexually abusing them.
He was acquitted of 21 offences of having sexual activity with a child, and five offences of having sexual activity with a child under 13.
Prosecutors alleged that he had touched some of the children's hair or their shoulders, hugged them, touched their bottom, stroked their cheek or touched their thigh for his own sexual gratification.
Mr Hook accepted he may have touched their hair or shoulders, and admitted hugging one alleged victim when she became upset, but denied he had any sexual motive.
"I didn't come into teaching to upset anybody or to assault anybody," he told jurors at Minshull Street Crown Court. "I came to add something to their lives.
"I kind of think sometimes, it turns out I was completely wrong, with a bit of physical connection it kind of affirms that I am there to try and help them. That's all it has ever been."
"Has your conduct towards your students ever been sexual?," he was asked by his barrister, Timothy Jacobs. "Never, ever," Mr Hook replied. "I have two daughters.
"I am sorry that somebody seems to think that there is or was."
