Tamzin Outhwaite finally feels comfortable in own skin after 'more infidelities' from ex

Former EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite has opened up about finally being comfortable in her own skin, and learning to accept and "like" herself at age 52. The actor, who found fame as Mel Owen when she joined the cast of the BBC soap in 1998, is currently on board the body positivity train, something that many other celebrities are championing right now.
It comes as the actor revealed she had hit the menopause, which led to her doing a 180 in terms of her health. Plus, marking it being 10 years since her ex husband, the father of her children and fellow actor Tom Ellis "walked out" on them.
In terms of her reaching menopausal age, the 52 year old has said that she's at a stage in her life where she has become "really comfortable" in who she is - both physically and mentally. While speaking to The Sun, Tamzin revealed that she is more "realistic" with her body and that she feels like she's in the best shape she's ever been in her life.
She also disclosed that part of the reason she feels this way is because she ditched the alcohol, which alongside the health overhaul, the actor states has given her a "new lease of life." "I know exactly who I am, what I'm doing and I'm confident physically and mentally with that," she said.These days, Tamzin is happily loved up with her personal trainer partner, Tom Child, who is 20 years her junior. While talking about their five year relationship, she admitted that they are in a good place, with there being no pressure put on either side.
