The rebound in music consumption continued in 2019 thanks to continued growth in the streaming market, according to MusicWatch’s 2019 Annual Music Study released Wednesday (March 18).According to the findings -- based on a survey of 5,000 respondents nationwide aged 13 and older and complemented by MusicWatch’s audiocensus study of 3,000 people who provided detailed music listening behaviors -- the number of music buyers in the U.S.

Billie Eilish’s James Bond theme No Time To Die lands straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Singles Chart, earning the star her first UK chart-topper and the biggest opening week of all time for a Bond theme, according to available Official Charts Company records.

Inside of The Slow Rush, there are many different markers of time. Tame Impala principal Kevin Parker has often written about how time moves—its inexorable march, its nostalgic allure, the feeling of being inside and outside its current. But his project’s fourth album really digs into the idea, as its paradoxical title implies. Parker plays with tempo and duration to make an album that exists both in the past and the present, moving quickly and strolling along at the same time.
