Tales From the Loop creator and former Legion co-executive producer Nathaniel Halpern is expanding his relationship with Fox 21 Television Studios, signing an overall deal with the studio behind the series. As part of the deal, Halpern will work with Fox 21, a division of Disney Television Studios, to create, develop and produce series for network, cable and streaming platforms.

Earlier this week it was announced that all NBA games have been suspended until further notice due to the spread of the coronavirus. With that being said, that will affect the pockets of the many employees that work at these arenas that house these NBA teams.
Netflix has teamed with Star Wars alumnus John Boyega as it eyes Africa as its next major source of content. The streamer, which debuted its first African Original Queen Sono last month, has signed a development deal with Boyega’s U.K.-based UpperRoom Productions, with a specific focus on non-English language films from West and East Africa.
