Michelle Yeoh‘s recent Netflix series The Brothers Sun has been cancelled just two months after its first and now only season was released.The crime drama is set in Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley and follows Taiwanese mobster Charles Sun (played by Justin Chien), whose father is assassinated in Taipei. The show was part of the network’s push into original scripted series, alongside other shows like “At Home With Amy Sedaris,” “I’m Sorry,” and “Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits & Monsters.” However, TruTV’s original programming lineup has been winnowed down to virtually nothing in the past few years, with the only original series still on the network being the hidden camera show “Impractical Jokers.” Likewise, fellow TNets like TBS and TNT — all of which fall under the Warner Bros.
