Sylvester Stallone, writer and star of Rocky, will be hosting a watch party for the Oscar-winning 1976 movie tonight.
The actor will take to the MGM official Facebook page later tonight (May 21) to answer questions from fans as the movie plays.
“Yo, My great friend and I get to meet again tomorrow afternoon. Don’t miss it! I’ll be there LIVE, for the screening of ROCKY !!!” Stallone said, sharing a clip from the movie on Instagram.

Here’s some wonderful news for fans of the mighty Rocky franchise as news has reached us that a feature documentary narrated by the Academy Award-winning screenwriter and star Sylvester Stallone is set to roll out on the digital format this summer. The news comes to us from the PR Newswire who says that the movie will kick off on the digital platforms in North America from early June with other territories to follows.
Fans of the “Rocky” franchise can look forward to the straight to on-demand release of a new documentary on June 9 celebrating the character titled, “40 Years of ‘Rocky’: The Birth of a Classic.” The film, narrated by the man himself, Sylvester Stallone, will bypass its original plan to release on Epix, opting for a straight-to-home release.
