The jury in Anthony Rapp’s $40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit against Kevin Spacey has found the two-time Oscar winner not liable for damages today. They had deliberated for only an hour-plus.

Kevin Spacey rested their case on Wednesday, while attempting to paint Anthony Rapp as a narcissist who is bringing a $40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit against the Oscar-winning actor in order to draw attention to himself. Rapp only wanted to attend a “highly publicized hearing with media attention,” Spacey’s attorney Chase Scolnick asserted at one point. To push that line of attack, Scolnick grilled forensic psychiatrist Alexander Bardey about Rapp’s emotional state. He claimed the actor was attention-seeking and showed no signs of post-traumatic stress disorder, citing the fact that Rapp told friends about the encounter with Spacey over the years, but never revealed the incident to his therapist.

Kevin Spacey has denied Anthony Rapp's claims of sexual misconduct. In September 2020, Rapp sued the House of Cards actor for assault, battery, and intentionally inflicting emotional distress, after first making public accusations against him in October 2017. In court documents, the Rent star alleged Spacey made sexual advances towards him in 1986 when he was 14 and both were performing on Broadway.

RBW Entertainment has shared that it is currently investigating several claims of infidelity and sexual misconduct made against ONEUS member Ravn by an alleged ex-girlfriend.On October 14, an anonymous Twitter user claiming to be an ex-girlfriend of Ravn’s uploaded a lengthy post accusing the idol of repeatedly cheating on her. He also made her “pay for everything” during the span of their relationship, among several other allegations.She alleged in her post that when they first met, the idol had gotten her drunk to the point that she was “not fully conscious” and proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her that same night.The user also alleged that Ravn had used violent language while talking about another ex-girlfriend, and later posted an audio clip which she alleges is a recording of the idol expressing his desire to “stab [his ex] with a knife”.The following day (October 14), RBW Entertainment shared a brief statement announcing that it was in the process of investigating the matter.

A controversial, anti-violence activist priest in Chicago who once caught attention for his relationship with former President Barack Obama is under investigation for another sexual abuse of a minor case.  The Archdiocese of Chicago announced Saturday that Father Michael Pfleger will be under investigation for a new allegation of sexual abuse of a minor said to have taken place more than 30 years ago, according to a statement.  "Father Pfleger has been asked to step aside from ministry and live away from the parish while the allegation is investigated. He has agreed to cooperate fully with this request," Archbishop of Chicago Cardinal Blase J. Cupich said Saturday.  The allegation was reported to the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and law enforcement officials.

Taking his place will be Boukman Eksperyans,” described as a Grammy-nominated Haitian roots band. Contacted by Variety, Beck’s reps declined to comment on his bowing out. The move was not necessarily a surprise, as fans had already been speculating whether the singer-songwriter might exit the Arcade Fire outing, after Win Butler was accused of sexual misconduct in an August Pitchfork article. Feist dropped out of her opening slot on the European leg of the tour after playing just the first two dates.
