The parting is said to be amicable. However, the breakdown in talks leaves the studio in search of a new filmmaker to take over one of its most popular franchises.

It looks like David Leitch‘s next film after “The Fall Guy” won’t be a new “Jurassic World” after all. Deadline reports that Universal is looking for new director for their franchise reboot after talks between the studio and Leitch fell through.

It has a particular focus on the couple’s young daughter Chloe (Liang), who is always at odds with her mother and Brother Tyler (Maday). However, the young girl is in mourning because of her two girls, one of them her best friend Nadia, died recently.
