Strictly star Janette Manrara 'so sad' as she prepares to give birth

Follow OK! on Threads here: https://www.threads.net/@ok_mag Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has shared her disappointment at having to miss an important event with her husband Aljaž Škorjanec, as their get incredibly close to welcoming their new baby.The professional dancer, who is now a presenter on It Takes Two, is expecting her first child any day now, so unfortunately she has had to turn down attending Flackstock - the special festival event in tribute to the late Love Island host, Caroline Flack. Olly Murs and a string of the presenter's other close pals in the industry first set it up and the event's success has led to it becoming an annual affair.
Both Janette, 39, and Aljaž, 33, were good friends with Caroline, who sadly died by suicide in 2019 at the age of 40, with their friendships blossoming after the bubbly star took part in the BBC dance competition. Caroline was partnered with another former pro - Pasha Kovalev - and went on to win the series, now forever remembered for her incredible performances on the dance floor.
Sharing a snap of the latest Flackstock line-up on her Instagram stories, Cuban-American dancer Janette lamented not being able to take part in the festivities this year. "Today is @flackstock and @aljazskorhanec and I are not able to be there this year as I'm creating our little human," she began.
"We are so sad, but we send everyone attending and the whole team so much love for this very special event! We'll be back next year as a trio!" Janette went on to encourage guests to have the most amazing time as they enjoy a day of music, joy and dancing in honour of Caroline.
