She may be famed for her entrepreneurial skills and impeccable dance moves but it looks like Strictly Come Dancing star Sara Davies knows a little something about skincare too. In an Instagram Reel shared with her 195K followers, everyone’s favourite “dragon” has shared the secret to her youthful, radiant complexion – and it’s not something you can buy.
Confessing that she’s “sceptical” of the ingredients in shop-bought face masks, Sara says she’s decided to make her own using just three simple ingredients and is applying the mask three times a week to give her skin a well-deserved boost. “So I absolutely loved the luxury of having my face made up every day on the Strictly tour, however it does take its toll on your skin so I’ve been treating myself to a face mask every few days to re-hydrate and give my skin some much needed TLC,” Sara captions the post.
“I’m always a bit sceptical about what chemicals are in the off-the-shelf masks so I did a bit of research and I’ve been making my own then I know exactly what’s in it,” she adds. Sara tells fans that her DIY mask is made up of rose water, aloe vera gel and pink clay powder – “all of which you can pick up easily on Amazon or in the chemist,” she says.To mix up the ingredients, Sara recommends combining a tablespoon of the powder with a half tablespoon of each liquid.

“Leave it about 20 mins, then rub it off with a damp cloth or flannel and moisturise as normal. I always make it fresh cos you don’t want it to dry out.”
