Giovanni Pernice has addressed reports he enjoyed a snog with Emily Atack at this week's Brit Awards. The Strictly Come Dancing champion, 31, was rumoured to have kissed actress Emily, 32, at a Brits afterparty on Tuesday night. However, the star appeared to downplay the rumours on his Instagram Story – with a little help from ABBA.
Posting to his Instagram Story, Giovanni, who split from Love Island’s Maura Higgins last year, shared Memoji of himself crying with laughter. The professional dancer also used lyrics from ABBA's hit single Mamma Mia as a soundtrack, and the Swedish group could be heard singing: "Mamma Mia, here I go again. My, my, how can I resist you? Mamma Mia, does it show again? My, my, just how much I've missed you?" Giovanni wrote "That's all..." underneath his Memoji and the song's lyrics. It was previously reported that Giovanni and Emily were "all over each other" while at nightclub The Box in London, after Giovanni travelled to from Glasgow to attend the Brit Awards. An onlooker told The Sun: “Gio and Emily were snogging the faces off each other.Their hands were everywhere and they were absolutely loving it." They went on to describe how the professional dancer had "been following [Emily] around the club" and eventually joined the star on Maya Jama's private table.
"Before long he had his arms draped over her on the dance floor where they kissed – and then held hands outside in the smoking area," they added. Plenty of other stars, including Gio's fellow Strictly pros Graziano Di Prima and Oti Mabuse were also in attendance at the bash. OK! has
