Stretford High School is shut today due to staff self-isolating after suffering coronavirus symptoms.
Headteacher of the school Nicola Doward wrote a letter to parents and carers informing them of the closure.
In the letter she said some staff members are suffering from minor symptoms and the school will be shut for a deep clean as a result.
Students will be sent work to complete via email by class teachers and are being asked to remain indoors during the closure.
