Still Game stars have stunned an Ayrshire primary school by turning up at their 60th anniversary celebrations.
Ford Kiernan (Jack Jarvis) and Greg Hemphill (Victor McDade) turned up to help toast Muirhead Primary School's big year.
The actors who play Craiglang heroes Jack and Victor were spotted floating around the Troon school's Summer Fete.
And the Scots comic legends posed for selfies as families and children were left in awe at the VIP guests.
It comes after Ayrshire Live told how the school had launched a plea to have the stars involved in their milestone celebrations - as one former pupil launched a bid to raise cash using her own artwork.
Heather Calder is set to giveaway her signed copies of her own Jack and Victor in a raffle to raise funds for the school.
The ex-Muirhead pupil and current parent thought of the "crazy idea" to get the pair down to Troon for a live auction at the town's Gala Day.
But the stars surprised everyone by rocking up to the school's celebrations and to help promote the raffle.
Head teacher June Stefani said: "We had absolutely no idea they were actually going to come.
"They had called the school a few weeks ago but we never actually expected it.
"It was a lovely thing for them to do, they said it's not something they normally do so for them to come and celebrate with our school was just amazing."
The stars officially opened the school's Community Early Years garden as they cut the ribbon before greeting fans.
Ms Stefani added: "They were both just really nice guys. They posed for a lot of selfies as they walked round.
"They spent some time with Heather because she had the two raffle prizes and that was a major boost ahead of the draw."
Heather said: "It was great that they could come down
